FREE CLASSES! Mark your calendars

  • Portage Lakes Library
    March 4, 2026 at 2 p.m.
    Mature Muscles Strength and Balance class. Enjoy a full-body workout including warm-up, stretching/flexibility, strength training, some cardiovascular endurance, coordination, cognitive training, hand-eye coordination, balance, cool-down, and flexibility! This class follows the SilverSneakers protocol - no running, jumping, or pounding. We'll use chairs, rubberized tubing, and soft playground-type balls. Go at your own pace and take breaks when needed. Modifications will be provided throughout the class.

    March 7, 2026 at 2 p.m.
    TurboKick (non-contact kickboxing) class. Choreographed to hip-hop/rock music. We'll be moving non-stop for 45 minutes in an energizing, fun session!
  • Portage Lakes Library
    March 11, 2026 at 2 p.m.
    Mature Muscles Movement class. Enjoy a full-body workout including marching, dancing, and non-contact kickboxing all while performing strength training exercises. Chairs, rubberized tubing, and soft playground-like balls will be used. We'll get in approximately 4,000 steps in this 45 minute class whether your seated the entire time or standing!
